Britain’s Carl Froch is set to defend his WBC super-middleweight title against Jermain Taylor in April.

Taylor, the former middleweight champ, lost his title to Pavlik last year.

I like this lad, hes a very good fighter but suffers from what I call “the benn effect” ie, hes hit too often.
This promises to be a make or break fight for Froch, if he wins it’ll open up the America for him, if he loses then its back to British and European titles at best.
Give him credit though for taking it on, which is more than Calzaghe has done in the last couple of years..
