It pains me to say it (being a liverpool fan) that Man Utd beat Spurs 4-1 on penalties to win the league cup.
Tottenham Hotspur, the holders, were beaten after a goalless draw at Wembley stadium.
This adds the League cup, to the World club championship they have already won. With Utd 7 points clear in the premier league as well, all the talk is of winning all 5 competitions this season, it’ll be tough, but can anyone stop them?
I can’t see any team doing it at the moment.
The story that stood out for me was that of Man Utd keeper, Ben Foster.
Immeadiately before the penalty shoot out, he was watching spurs players taking penalties on his MP3 player!
How clever is that!
